Brazil has Amendment to Resolution 382, 26 December 2006

CONAMA/MMA RESOLUTION No. 501, OF OCTOBER 21, 2021

Amends Resolution No. 382/2006, which establishes the limits maximum emission of air pollutants for sources fixed.


THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL - CONAMA, in the use of its competences are conferred by articles 6, item II, and 8, item VII, of Law No. 6.938, of August 31, 1981, regulated by Decree No. 99,274, of June 6, 1990 and its amendments, in view of the provided for in its Bylaws, resolves:

Art. 1 Annex V of Resolution No. 382 of December 26, 2006, published in the Gazette

Union Official January 2, 2007, Section 1, page 131-137, becomes effective with the following changes:


ANNEX V

EMISSION LIMITS FOR ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTANTS FROM A TURBINES

GAS FOR ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION

"1. .............

1.2. For fully electrified platforms located beyond the Brazilian territorial sea, when the electrical generation by each turbo generator is less than 100 MW, the limits established here do not apply.

2 ...............

b) fully electrified platform: oil and gas enterprise using turbines in simple or combined cycle only for electricity generation.

Art. 2 This Resolution enters into force on November 3, 2021.
